Metodologia de Revisão Integrativa da Literatura em Enfermagem

Abstract

Introdução: A revisão integrativa da literatura é um método que permite a síntese de conhecimento e a incorporação dos resultados de estudos significativos na prática. É objetivo apresentar os conceitos gerais e as etapas para a elaboração de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, com base na mais recente evidência científica. Material e Métodos: consiste numa revisão narrativa da literatura em bases de dados: BDENF, Portal de Revistas de Enfermagem; SCIELO; LILACS; MEDLINE; INI e CINAHL. Resultados e Discussão: Apresentam-se as seis fases do processo de elaboração da revisão integrativa: identificação do tema e elaboração da questão de pesquisa, amostragem ou pesquisa da literatura, colheita de dados, análise crítica dos estudos incluídos, interpretação e discussão dos resultados e apresentação da revisão/ síntese de conhecimento. Conclusões: A revisão integrativa da literatura tem sido apontada como uma ferramenta importante na síntese das pesquisas disponíveis sobre determinada temática e direciona a prática fundamentada em conhecimento científico, ou seja, para a prática baseada na evidência. Introduction: the integrative review of the literature is a method that permits the synthesis of knowledge and the incorporation of the results of significant studies in practice.The objective of this article is to present the general concepts and stages for the elaboration of and integrative review of the literature, based on the most recent scientific literature. Materials and Methods: Consists of a study performed through the review of the literature in the following data bases: BDENF, Portal de Revistas de Enfermagem; SCIELO; LILACS; EDLINE; INI and CINAHL. Results and Discussion: Six phases of the process of performing an integrative review are present: identification of the theme and elaboration of the orienting question, search or sampling in the literature, data collection, critical analysis of the studies included, interpretation and discussion of the results and presentation of the integrative review/synthesis of knowledge. Conclusions: The integrative review of the literature has been pointed as an important tool in the synthesis of the research available on a specific subject and directed towards a practice based on scientific knowledge, in other words, permits practice based on evidence
